What is Spirituality?

 

Spirituality is something that is believed by an individual. Often relative to a belief in God, sense of higher being, or bettering of self. Spirituality is usually categorized as belong to the church or a set of ecclesiastical laws. Spirituality is often associated to the state of one spiritual being, religious values, or personal morals. Having a good sense of spirit can create inner peace, calm, and healing.

RELIGIOUS SPIRITUALITY

 

God, Buddha,  Jesus,  Allah, are the most commonly referenced religious idealizations in this form of spirituality. Religious spirituality across most spectrum defines a set of rules or standards one should live by. People are encouraged to fellowship, worship, and read from scriptures within the particular text of said religious sects. Belief in living a life set on a certain set of morals and standards allows one to enter into a relationship with said religious idol and into a eternal salvation from negative consequences after death.  

MYSTICAL SPIRITUALITY

 Often referred to as intuition, This type of spirituality is focused on the intuition portion of the soul.  People that believe in this form of spirituality often believe that life experiences go beyond the material, physical and emotional realm. and all things are brought into unity to experience life and every event in life.  The “everything happens for a reason” people normally fit into this form of spirituality.

INTELLECTUAL SPIRITUALITY

 Knowledge that helps one improve their spirituality is the fundamental bases of this form of spirituality. Some key components of Intellectual Spirituality is analyzing spiritual data, learning spiritual theories, and studying subjects related to spirituality such as theology. 

SERVICE SPIRITUALITY

 

 Exactly how it sounds, serving others is the key of this form of spirituality. One of the most common types of spirituality, there are many ways to exercise this form of spirituality. The most fundamental point of this form is to help others expecting nothing in return and knowing that your good service was received with appreciation and that the individuals soul felt rewarded and fulfilled thus allowing them to be in contact with their spiritual selves.

SOCIAL SPIRITUALITY

Socialites in general experience this form of spirituality. The whole belief is that by being in a large gathering such as a church setting, meditation group, or social club one can become spiritually fit and healthy from the energies and and auras of others. By allowing themselves to project and receive their energy and the energy of others the soul finds peace from sharing and engaging with other souls through human communication, contact, and presence.

PRACTICING SPIRITUALITY

There are many other kinds of Spirituality. We encourage people to learn about them and use one or many in your life to enrich your spiritual life.Learning about spirituality offers individuals a deeper connection to their inner selves and the world around them, fostering a sense of purpose and belonging. By exploring spirituality, people can gain insights that lead to stronger connections with themselves and others, enhancing both their inner strength and their approach to life’s uncertainties.
