S2:E1: U.S.S. CAVALLA

On June 19th, 1944, the USS Cavalla would be on her maiden patrol when on her way to the Philippines, caught the Japanese Carrier Shokaku. The 311 foot Lucky Lady fired six torpedoes. Three direct hits would sink the 30,000 ton Shokaku Carrier. This would earn the Cavalla the nickname Luck Lady and the Presidential Unit Citation. Longhorn Paranormal will with any luck catch who is still haunting this submarine.

Built in Houston Texas, would be commissioned in May, 1943 in Galveston. 200 men would serve on 307 foot of Naval firepower. She made 30 crossings in the North Atlantic sea fighting off enemy submarines and aircraft to protect open shipping lanes to Europe. She made a secret mission escorting President Roosevelt yacht to Casablanca and Tehran. No reported deaths on board while in service. Reports of sailors returning to their bunks and walking the halls.
